Sorry for bringing this old thread up.
I just came across this article on US News on average US FICO Scores for 2007:
“…in 2007, the average American FICO score was 678 -- and that was in better economic times when more people were able to easily make payments.”
Pretty interesting because they mentioned scores required for 0% auto financing.
I am not sure if external links are allowed to be posted here but you can Google “The-0-Percent-Financing-Craze” for the article.
EQ says my score is about average. While it may be interesting to know what the average is, it wont do much good in getting new credit or what your interest rates will be.
Also 2 person's scores could be the same and one person could get approved and the other denied based on a MR.
