I received a letter from EX saying that my most serious baddie (federal tax lien) has been deleted. How long does it take for this to be reflected in my EX FICO score?
I want to apply for the Costo TrueEarnings card and wish to time my application to optimize my chance for approval.
I pulled my EX report yesterday. The tax lien is gone
My question was regarding the EX FICO SCORE. Does it get updated immediately, or is there a time lag between when the report is updated and when the score is updated?

Congrats!
Where are you getting your EX FICO from?
Thanks for that insight.
Without the tax lien, I now have another decision...
Should I app now, with a "thin file" (1 credit card, 1 store charge card) and a recent 30-day late (June, 2008) or should I wait until June when the 30-day late ages 1 year, but my 2 new cards (a new credit card, plus a new Home Depot charge card) start reporting?
In other words, which is worst in the eyes of AMEX, having a thin file and no new credit OR not having a thin file but having new credit?
