CCT and TU Dispute

Since I've started reading here, I've done a couple CCT trials.

On 3/15 I received a letter that a collection account was deleted from TU.  Today I checked CCT and it still shows. I called TU and they show it deleted.

How long does it take to update? How valuable is the outside tracking/monitoring if it's way behind on big stuff like accounts being removed? How does it almost immediately update new accounts and inquiries but take weeks to remove accounts?

Re: CCT and TU Dispute

Are you still in the trial period with CCT? My understanding is that they don't update during the trial period.

Re: CCT and TU Dispute

Well, I 'qualified' for a new trial but now that you mention it, everything was the same.  So they didn't really generate new reports. Hmm.

I think I'll stick to getting my scores from Merrick and DCU. Thanks!

Re: CCT and TU Dispute

I know this thread is old but I had the same question. I have CCT monthly for several months. My CCT TU report has several errors. I went to TUs site to dispute and only one error showed. It makes me wonder how erroneous CCT reports are.

Re: CCT and TU Dispute

I've never had an issue with CCT reports and their accuracy.
