Can increased credit card limits raise credit score?

If you are approved for an increased credit limit, should you take it since you may be able to decrease your debt to credit limit ratio?

Yes th higher the limit the lower the utililzaton that's if you remember not to increase the balance.  That is definitely a positive.

 Last August, B of A pre-approved me a credit card, and after accepting it, I realized that it was the same Mastercard I already had with them.  So I merged that new account with my older Mastercard increasing my credit limit from $8,000 to $16,300. My fico scores shot up 10 points for doing that.
