Can't Figure Out Score Drop

Hi all.

 

About a month ago my TU score was 599. Today, it sits at 564. No missed/late payments, no inquiries, no new accounts, decreased my utilization another 10%...I can't for the life of me figure out why the 35 point drop. Anyone have any other reasons why a score might drop?

First thing you need to do is get copy of your credit report and check to make sure everything shown in accurate. Secondly, did you challenge any information on your revolving account. If you did, they take those out of your scoring until the issue is resolved. Third, you could have been moved to a new bucket bracket. This will move your score down temporarily. And finally, you may want to talk with myfico and ask them to look at your account.

1. Already checked report - everything is accurate.

2. No disputes

3. I'm already in a negative bucket - I have a CA reporting and more than one CO - that hasn't changed in months.

Yes, I do. I still don't understand why a 35 point drop.

Contact MyFico by phone and see if they can help. I did that one time and they got one of their specialist to contact EQU and see what the deal was.
