Can't believe it!

Just got my Discover it for student today and couldn't believe that my TU FICO score is 738. I first got my credit card with Citi only 7 months ago. Is this score considered high for a newbie like me?

03/25/2015 TU 08 765, EX 08 747, EQ 08 757, EQ 04 754.
01/30/2016 TU 08 775, EX 08 752, EQ 08 744
Goal: 780+ across all models.

Welcome to the forum!

 

I would say it is high average. Keep in mind though that the score is not all lenders look at. I would venture to say that a lender prefers a 710 with 15 Tradelines and an AAoA of 3 years over a 740 with 2 tradelines and <1 year AAoA. 

 

You have set yourself up perfectly to build your profile. Great job!
