Citi credit scores vs myfico

I was recently approved for a citi platinum select and home depot card. When I got my approvals they gave me my credit score. Here in DC for Home Depot they pulled equifax (693) and for the citi card it was experian (703). Only problem is myficoI doesn't reflect those scores. With myfico I'm still in the mid-600's. What gives?

I just received my card and information yesterday from citi but didn't get a score? May I ask where did you find yours?

Thanks

When I recently was approved for my fourth AmEx, I received a letter in the mail from AmEx Congratulating me and in the letter it said "We have provided you with your EX FICO that we partly based our decision on" I have never received a Congratulation letter from AmEx before so I don't know why I got this one, but I am happy I did, now I know my EX FICO.

So maybe that's where the OP got his/her score, I'm not sure, maybe the OP will post an answer for you.

Re: Citi credit scores vs myfico

On the 4th page of my "congratulations" letter.

Page one was a welcome letter from Ken Stork

Page two "facts about interest and fees

Page three was info on what is a credit report, and the fact that they used experian

Page four told me my score

Re: Citi credit scores vs myfico

I see you got the Platinum Select card, I got the Dividend World MasterCard. Wonder if which card makes a difference.

New credit score disclosures began July 21st, 2011. Regulations require lenders to provide a credit score and related information when they deny a consumer's request for credit or provide credit with less favorable credit terms than other consumers with better credit histories. To read more about this subject go to ScoreInfo.
