I closed a CC before the annual fee hit and I am wondering how this is being calculated in my utilization. Here are the details...
If it is a closed account, it will continue to factor into your utilization until the balance reaches zero. At that point it is no longer considered in util calculations.
It will continue to play a part in AAoA, for up to 10 years.
I am currently holding a small balance on a closed CC that I'm chipping away at just to help with my util until some past baddies get further into the past. At that point, I will pay off the balance.

Your annual fee was $620!

Wow...eat your heart out, First Premier!
I sincerely hope that the $620 was the remaining balance at the time the card was closed...right?!?!?!
haha no my AF was $99 i believe and I closed the account before it was applied. $620 was the remaining balance. Also does my "Largest Past Balance" act as the CL making my utilization 62% or is my CL $0 and my utilization 620%?!?
