I recently combined mines but I have not seen any changes in my scores (yet). But I can't imagine there would be because the limits didn't change, they were just combined to one card...
Depends on if you are keeping all cards open. If not, you might get a temporary hit on AAoA depending on how long the card(s) have been open. It is just a slight fluctuation since the good history stays on your report for 10 years.

Fico AAoA uses both open and closed accounts in the calculation. Closed accounts typically remain on file for 10 years. Therefore, as long as the discontinued card remains on file your Fico AA0A will not be affected. Best approach, assuming a significant age difference between the 2 cards, is to combine into the older account and retain that one as active.
Credit score may be impacted a little depending on how many open credit card accounts you have before/after combining. Potentially no score affect if # open CC accounts is 5 or more.
Note: the CK AAoOA is determined using open accounts only. Therefore, closing one of the cards will affect the calculation and most likely your AAoOA will change.
