I wouldn't apply for cards when your score is depreciated so far down. Get that fixed. Low scores = denials or low SLs.
3 credit cards can be a mix of anything: bank cards, store cards, etc. It's wise to have at least one bank card in the mix (Visa, MC, Disc, Amex).
