Hi all. If a credit card company is doing a promotion and sent me a notice in the mail and I accept the card. Will that affect my credit report or will that be a soft inquiry, where it will it won't affect my credit report?

It will be a hard inquiry and will land on your credit report and be present for 2 years (impacting score for 1 year).
Any time you apply for new credit, even if it's through an invitation, it is going to result in a hard pull.
