Credit card paid, reporting 0.

So I just paid off one of the last 3 of my cards left over from a divorce.

The balance is updated in all 3Bs to 0. My question is this: if the balance was updated why does the score simulator at myFICO still show the total of all 3 cards?

3791.00
1431.00
1448.00

It allows me to still simulate paying down debt by paying a card that has already been paid.

Credit card debt should be 5222 but is instead 6670.

Note the credit report itself is correct, just not the simulator ..... so I am not sure if I have received the bump from paying this off or if it is still yet to come.

Simulators are garbage.  Don't put much stock in what they tell you.  Your best simulators are the well-versed members of this forum.  If you list out as much information as possible with respect to your profile and ask what will happen if you do X, I'm confident that the responses that you get on here will make the responses that you get from a simulator go cry in the corner.

I was less concerned with weather I got the bump or not and more corncened with why the simulator wasn’t getting totals correct.

But I digress, I see your point .. lol

The simulator from the myfico service uses the most recent quarterly or monthly credit report you pull from your subscription. It won't update with the daily monitoring.

Starting Score-(01/2017): FICO ||EX:575--EQ:549--TU:588||
Current Score--(04/2018): FICO ||EX:686--EQ:697--TU:715||

Well the report contains the amount paid off. I was waiting for the change BEFORE I pulled the report. May be just a “what time” it uses to pull data and may have gotten the info from the last full day.

Shoulda waited 3 more hours ::sigh::
