Credit score fluctuations

Hi All:

I am a newbie to this board.  I was wondering if somebody could give me a clue why my score has dropped 15 points in the last month.  I have closed and paid off about seven credit cards and  paid off a loan.  I am now only using my dividend miles card for purchases which gets the balance paid in full every statement.

I had a derogatory mark on my credit report which through my diligence has been expunged, so that should be a plus, very unsure of why I took a dip!  I would think that it would have not changed much at all or improved.

Anybody, help!

Thanks,
