Different TU score

I got my Amazon Chase visa yesterday. The card approval document mention that my TU credit score is 690 as of 4/11. It also mentioned the score range between 100 to 990. Now CK shows my TU score at 740. Now I have heard on this forum that original Fico score is between 300 to 850. Now why so much disparity in scores? I have limited credit history of 4 months and 2 cards. Pnc secure being the second.

PNC Secured 2000 (Dec12), Chase Amazon 2000 (Apr13), CapOne Newcomer 2500 (May13), Citi dividend 3000 (May13), Discover IT 1000 (Jul13), Amex BCP 6000 (Jul13), Chase Southwest 10000 (Jul13), Chase Marriott 12000 (Oct 13), BofA Travel Rewards 5000 (Dec13)

Pay CK scores no attention and the second one sounds like a vantage score as well probably chase internal

Congrats on the amazon

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Neither of those scores are FICO.  As you stated, the FICO range is 300 to 850.  When one gets a score from a lender, unless they state that the score is a FICO...it's not.  That 690 score is probably some internal score.  Same with the CK score, it's also not a FICO.  Spring for the $19.95 here to get your TU98 FICO, at least you'll have a bit clearer picture of where you really are.

Re: Different TU score

Well I tried to apply at myfico to get score but it rejected the purchase by saying limited credit history for a score. CS told me to wait another 3 months before buying a score from myfico

Have to have at least six months reported on any tradeline to generate an actual FICO score.

Going to move this thread as well for followup questions.
