Different scores, same report.

Why does Transunion say my Equifax score is 661 and MyFICO says my Equifax score is 689? Both scores were pulled on the same day. Both reports contain the same information. Which is right and which one would perspective lenders see?

Thanks,

Re: Different scores, same report.

That's what I thought. But why would a vantage score be 28 points LOWER than FICO?

Re: Different scores, same report.

Vantage scores are frequently lower than FICO.  Ignore them.  Lenders are not using Vantage scores.  And remember you have three different FICO scores, one from each of EX, TU and EQ.  Each of these three will vary  because they will never have the identical information.  For example, your car finance co. may not report to TU, so your TU score may be lower if you had a good payment history on your car but it wasn't reported.
