Re: Do u have 3 Fico Scores

Yes, everyone has three FICO scores, because the scores are based on the three CRA's (credit bureaus.) Each CRA --EQ (Equifax), TU (TransUnion), and EX (Experian) --has a different custom formula to generate a FICO score. And frequently each report will have slightly different information, depending on how your creditors have been reporting. So not only do you have three FICO scores, but it is very, very rare when any of them match.

Just to confuse matters, EX, TU, and various credit monitoring services also sell their own scores, which are frequently called FAKO's. Be sure, if you ever pull your credit report from one of them, or if you sign up for a credit monitoring service, that you do not pay a penny for their scores, which are bogus.

FICO scores will have a little gold medal picture on them.
* Credit is a wonderful servant, but a terrible master. * Who's the boss --you or your credit?

Re: Do u have 3 Fico Scores

I should have added, please read Credit Scoring 101, which is stickied at the top of many of the different boards (forums) here.

The "Credit Education" tab here on myFICO is very useful also.
