Yeah, if it's a negative account certainly you'd want one removed. There is a converse to this situation though. One can have a positive account that's listed multiple times on their credit report. My oldest account is listed 4 times currently on my credit report, meaning that my AoOA is being factored in 4 times into my AAoA, which definitely bumps that up.
