I know some readers out there are appalled at how awful I let things go. I know that, okay?? What's important is that this is in the past for-ever. No more of this.
CK did say my TU score tanked 9 points from the inquiry, even though the JCP is now on there at zero instead of 379.
Interesting. I know CK isn't worth much, but it was closer to my TU04 than TU98 was.
The few who feign being appalled are the elitist hypocrites who have conveniently forgotten how bad their credit once was.
From a BK years ago to:
EX - 3/11 pulled by lender- 835, EQ - 2/11-816, TU - 2/11-782
"Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they've made a difference. The Marines don't have that problem".
Hauling, I think your bathroom scale metaphor is just perfect! But it doesn't take away from the fact that I love the scale at the gym way more than the scale at the dr. office.
Oh yeah, I'm backing hating CK again - my FICO went UP 5 points today from reduced utility and that included the new inquiry. It must have just been a simple coincidence that it was closer on that same day as my lender pull.
My EQ FICO has been unchanged at 701 for over a year. My TU FICO from here has only been checked 3 times during that time but remains 737 each time. During that time my EX Plus has made 14 changes over the range of 726-762 and my CK TransRisk has made 15 changes over the range of 725-743. During the last half of that time my CK Vantage has made 8 changes over the range of 747-788.
CK is a waste of time for scores. It does have some decent data that is worth the price.
That's a pretty score to be sitting at. It must be boring though. When your building you get lots of movement! (Hopefully all good).

Yep!
