Just going through my EQ report. I have 2 Negative accounts. Sent a GW letter to one yesterday. On the other one when I clicked on details the Current Status says:Not more than two payments past due. Does that mean it's late now? I paid this off and in full in 2009.
I compared that to my TU status and that shows: Paid Account/was 30 days late 3 times.

Not more than 2 payments, payment every 30 days, equivalent to 30 days late from the looks of it though I haven't seen that particular status previously; out of curiosity where was the EQ report pulled from, annualcreditreports.com or elsewhere?

I pulled that from myfico.com
Balance [?] $0 Current Status [?] Not more than two payments past due
Hmm, none of the EQ reports I've pulled from here had anything like that for my own derog tradeline with a 60 day late on it.

I called Equifax this morning and the rep said that it was ok. I had the feeling she didn't know. So I just called again and it turns out that status does mean I am currently late.
So I explained this account was paid in full in June of 2009 and a dispute has now been filed. The last time this creditor updated the account was May 2009 and I was late at the time so I guess that's why it still showing late. I guess once this is resolved it can only help my report and score.
P.S. I was going to send this creditor a GW letter. Guess I should wait until after this inquiry. Maybe they won't reply and this account will be removed.

Oh that makes more sense: it was last reported as currently late rather than my own which was how many times the tradeline was late. Thank you for the clarification; I'm guessing if they do update (rather than delete the tradeline) you'll get the more common entry which would look identical to my own derog revolving tradeline.

You're welcome. I'll let you know what they do.
