Equifax vs Fico

New to posting. I checked my Equifax and Fico scores. My fico score was 60 pts higher. I am confused as to which score would be accurate. Please help??!?!

Your Fico score is the one lenders use not the Equifax score they offer that's more for educational purposes

Hello and welcome to myFICO.

May I ask where you got your scores? I ask because most credit scores out there are not true FICO scores.

The Equifax FICO score here is version 08. The Equifax website will sell you a ScoreWatch 04 score but you have to be careful because they also sell their own proprietary score which is not FICO.
