Ex. score vastly different

Hi, all.

Just curious as to why this is:

I pulled my Equifax (677) & Transunion (666) score here @ myFICO.  I didn't pull my Experian because I already had that number (598) from freecreditreport.com

I get that each company uses different calculations, but why is there such a vast difference between my EQ/TU & my Ex. @ 598?  And, yes, I did compare the reports to each other as far as accounts listed and there were no significant differences.

That's more than a 50 pt difference and when I see others w/ all 3 scores being around the same (w/in 10-20 pts of each other) it just makes me wonder if the 598 is wrong.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

Chillin' (for real this time) in the garden for a while now until AT LEAST 12/2013. *sigh* Wish me luck!

Re: Ex. score vastly different

You can't really compare FICO scores to FAKO scores ~ they have different scoring rules and max/min values.   Take a look at the credit scoring 101 thread in this posting of frequently requested threads, it explains the differences:
