Re: Expanded "FICO High Achievers" (scores of 760 and above) characteristics list

Frugal and Big D - Thanks for the comments.  My 'downfall' was finding this website.  I'm a competitive sort, so I'm competing with myself.  My scores are posted on my wall, so I can see their movement as the years go by.  Not only that, I'm allergic to credit cards and addicted to my debit card.  :smileymad::smileyhappy::smileywink:  :smileyhappy:

It's all a game.  Works for me.

Re: Expanded "FICO High Achievers" (scores of 760 and above) characteristics list

I have been hovering around 800s recently. My AAoA is not as high as reported by others in this thread (Mine is 6.5 years). I have several cards from the time I was a student in early 2000s showing up as closed. There are no baddies except for EX taking matters in their own hand w.r.t to a card closed in 2005 (they list as paid charge off).

I definitely benefited from just managing my 2 CCs judiciously. Never reached limits, always payoff on a monthly basis etc for 4-5 years in a row. With just 2 revolving accounts and no other loans or baddies, I believe I might have reached the threshold or maximum (maybe within 10 points up or down). To go any further, they probably want to see Mortgage loans, and I have no plans for that at the moment.

I know we refer to FICO scoring as a game but I hope realize this is not a forum for a roleplaying game and you can't buy FICO points.

I'll sell you some of my EX points since we can;t see what the score is anyway.
