Experian FICO droped 25 points with no report changes?

My experian reports for yesterday and today are identical. My score (on experian so actually current unlike here) BAM went down 25 points. What makes this happen? Nothing at all looks different.

I was seeing the same thing on all of my three scores. Not sure what had happened.

Actually I found a difference. I paid a 3+ year old utility bill and it shows as paid today. How on earth could that drop my score??

Because it was updated recently and looks like a "new" late/collection account to FICO.

That is so strange. I've been diligently cleaning up my credit report for close to a year and this is the first time paying has had a negative impact. Sigh.
