hello!
Here at MyFico my Equifax (FICO Score 8) FICO is indicated as 850 out of possible 850.
But a Citi Bank credit card reports Equifax FICO monthly and it shows 867 out of possible 900.
Citi indicates "Your FICO® Score is calculated based on data from Equifax using the FICO® Bankcard Score 8 model. This model has a FICO® Score range from 250 through 900."
These values have been consistent for a number of months so I don't think the difference is simply due to measuring at different points in time.
Which is more "accurate" as to what lenders, etc, would see?
Thank you.
Okay, I googled and read some interesting stories around the web. Also found this description from FICO about the various flavors of FICO scores

Neither score is more accurate.
The scores are derived based on the model. I suspect more lenders use Fico 8 as opposed to Fico 8 Bankcard but you need to ask the specific lender. See link below for score ranges for different Fico models.
