Experian: be very careful about any dispute with them! Nasty and vengefull!

Friend made minor balance dispute with EX:
1-EX made no correction.
2-EX did not respond.
3-EX placed a 7 year Fraud Alert on account.
4-EX advised EQ and TU and they placed 7 year Fraud Alerts.
5--- EQ and TU have no idea why EX advised them of Fraud Alert.

So ffriend got nothing done and now is screwed totally until these are removed.

Intereseting. I have disputed few items repeatedly and they start reporting CO even though they are paidin full. I have no idea why they do that. I am fighting at least 6 accounts they have markes CO recently.

How minor? Also CRAs do not communicate with each other. In fact, I don't even think they like each other, after all they are competitors.

How do you know this to be fact? I have never ever heard of this happening.

I must say that it sounds as if your friend has not told you all the facts, and, believe me, Experian doesn't have sufficient resources to specifically pick out your friend and torture him. They are under scrutinity every day and they are not going to risk huge fines based on their treatment of your friend.
FICO scores on November 17, 2014 (prior to applying for and being approved my mortgage)

EX=738
EQ=735
TU=754

FICO scores on March 4, 2015 after being approved for mortgage and buying the home, the mortgage isn't yet reporting.

1 & 2 - If your friend sent a dispute to EX via CMRRR, kept the papertrail, and EX didn't respond at all, then your friend should do another CMRRR dispute and save that papertrail. Take 3 of 'em to a consumer lawyer. I suspect they'll be salivating.

3, 4 & 5 - FAs are baking soda mouthwash. Uncomfortable but easy to spit out. Fax or send a letter asking for the FA to be removed.

If your friend has a papertrail, and can reproduce this bad behavior outta EX, then your friend has a payday coming his or her way.

Re: Experian: be very careful about any dispute with them! Nasty and vengefull!

I  KNOW it to be fact because they sent me letter stating what they were doing and there is a fraud alert on all 3 cr's.This all began when my Equifax report split and I sent them the documentation they requested to merge my  report.
   In summary It was Equifax,but they did to me  just what the original  poster said they did to him.

They each said that when one CRA places a Fraud Alert, the others must do so also.
So as far as Fraud Alerts they communicate with each other--apparently electonically.

Why do you think it's vengeful if EX notifies EQ and TU about a possible fraudulent situation?

I'd never dispute a positive account, even if the balance is wrong. The likelihood it'd be suppressed is high.
