FICO 09 40 POINTS LOWER THAN 08!!

Just discovered (hadn't looked at 'other' scores in a while) that my Fico 09 is 692  vs 732 with FICO 08.

No baddies...20+ years etc.....everthing 'exceptional' except for utilization shown as 'good; @  of 41% (believe me, I know that 41% is certainly not good and I am steadily working on lowering it!!)

Seems the threads I fin d on this new model indicate people are getting higher scores with 09....expecially with medical baddies.

Anyone else notice that with a clean report their score is way lower?!?!!?

I've read a mix of both higher and lower. I also read an article that more or less seemed to hint that Fico9.would treat medical.collections different, but in a more positive way.

Not sure what is different on that which could have your score much lower than Fico8. If it's utilization, maybe they scrutinize thst a bit more?? It's probably anyone's guess at this point.

Where do you get Fico9 scores and is anyone using them yet?

41% utilization is subjective, in terms of "good."  If you have 41% utilization on a $500 total credit limit, I'd say you are doing pretty good.  However, 41% utilization on a $30,000 total credit limit, you indeed are not doing good.
