I've complained on here before that my Equifax score is always 30-40 points lower than my TU and EX scores, despite it having the fewest inquiries (2).
Well, last month those 2 INQs reached 1 year of age...so I checked my report today and my score jumped from 709 (as of 9/23) to 732!
Just wanted to share this with folks who have also wished terrible things upon Equifax. EQ sure likes to hold a grudge against INQs!
Congrats!
I think your EQ being low on MyFICO has more to do with the FICO 04 scoring model than which CRA it was from.
If you were able to pull FICO 04 scores from other CRAs besides EQ, those scores would have also been low (probably lower if you have more inqs in the other ones).
I too have a problem with FICO 04 scores.. they were 96 points lower than my 08 scores late last month (EQ 04 666, TU 08 762, EX 08 757).
EDIT: FYI, the scores MyFICO sells are EQ: FICO 04 Classic, EX: FICO 08 Classic, and TU: FICO 98 Classic.
Yep...EQ 04 doesn't like inquiries! I gained 11 points when an inquiry hit the year mark.
Inquiries make up 10% of your score, right?
How does the Equifax FICO weigh inquiries differently than TU or EXPERIAN?
I have 3 inquiries < 1 year on Equifax and only 1 inquiry < 1 year on both TU and EX (4 months old). Are you saying Im being hammered by those 3 inquiries on EQUIFAX? (Ages are 8 months, 5 months and 4 months, on Equifax).

Possibly. I just learned recently how brutal Equifax is on inquiries. I wish I would have known this a year ago! lol
