Derogs from 2009 and 2010 now gone after 7 years. I started paying attention to credit scores in about 2014. It's taken a few years but credit scores are now good after starting in the high 500s back in 2011

Re: FROM 631 TO 814

Hi DIYCredit,

Congratulations on your financial rebuild.  From personal experience, it is so easy to become late/deliquent, and so hard to recover.  BUT, it can be done as you have demonstrated by sharing your rebuild story with us here at the myFICO forums.

Your story will serve as an inspiration to others.  There is light at the end of the dark tunnel.

Just remember to continue exercising sound financial decisions, and try your best to not be late on anything.  If you see that is is going to happen, contact your creditors first as they might be able to "bend" somewhat.

*Kudos*
