Depends on the company. It is accurate for whatever model they say they're using. I think that the TU scores from Barclays and Discover are both Fico 08, so they are "true" Fico scores. The one from Citi is a Fico 08 bankcard, so it isn't the normal one (although the bankcard is used by some lenders). I don't know about any of the others.
I think they vary. Pretty sure Discover's, for example, is a true Fico 08 score. But I think some cards do give stuff like Vantage Score or Plus Score.
Someone else with more info will chime in, I'm sure. : )
Discover gives true Fico score based on TU08
Generally, it will say somewhere in the fine print what kind of score it is.
Yes. they both accurate and would be exactly the same. except the dates they were pulled. that bankcard version is also accurate. but almost exactly as the fico 08 version. give or take a couple points. most cases that score is higher than fico 08. but in anycase. before applying for anything. always check the pulls database to see who your potential lender pulls. and get a good ideal of which they will be using. good luck.
YMMV, depending on lender. Scores provided by Discover Card or Wal-Mart CC are both TU08, IIRC. However, Capital One's Credit Tracker is essentially a Credit Karma type of score.
And besides being a real score, Barclays (on my Arrival +) updates throughout the month. Discover, also a real score, does not.
I think Citibank's EQ is real, but always old. And Chase's EX I think is also real, but always old.
