Frozen FICO Score

My FICO score is frozen.  I am paying my bills on time, carrying zero balances on each of my credit cards each month, not taking on any new debt and yet my score has not changed.  Is there anything else I can do?

Re: Frozen FICO Score

No I pay it in full before the close of the monthly statement.  From what I have been reading here on the Forums it just takes time and I need to be more patient.

What are the negatives, in order, on screen two?

* Credit is a wonderful servant, but a terrible master. * Who's the boss --you or your credit?

Re: Frozen FICO Score

Aging set aside which monthly accounts for limited progress, it seems reasonable that if your input is the same every month, then the output will be too. The exception is when aging of lates and rebucketing hit certain milestones.

My credit history show no lates, so my scores are particularly frozen, except for new cards and other account changes as well as playing around with balance payments.

When balances are paid in full before the statement date, the 35% payment history of what makes up your credit score is at its best, as is the 30% debt.

If no accounts are opened or closed, the 10% new credit is at its best too; related is the 10% types of credit used. The remaining 15% length of credit history is aging.

Did I miss anything significant? Smiley Wink

There have been various posts in these forums which each indicate that the lessening effect of a given type of late increases your score at various given times. I don't think anyone has posted a single table outlining all types of lates, although it would probably be useful to many.

Re: Frozen FICO Score

Try letting a balance report a small one under 10% of your credit utilization. Also how old are your credit card accounts?
