As of Sept 1, Experian finally dropped Midland Funding from my report. MyFico shows that it's still there. I went to Experian's site to look at my report and it's gone AND it does show 2 myfico inquiries since September 1st. So what gives? What can I do about that?
I am guessing that you have the myFICO Ultimate 3B credit monitoring product:
https://www1.myfico.com/products/fico-credit-monitoring
You'll see there that your report is updated quarterly. Thus, if you got your report in mid August (say) you wouldn't expect to see any changes made to it until mid November.
If you would like to see a more recent update of your credit reports, you may want to sign up for one of the many free tools that are out there, e.g. Credit Karma or creditscore.com (or both).

Oh wait. Me again. So then, the score is reliable, just not the report?
Both your score and report should have dates assigned to go along with them indicating the time they were updated. They are both reliable as of the time indicated. Naturally, if you're looking at a report (or score) that's from 2 months ago, there's a chance that it's less accurate (if it has changed) than if it were generated say this week.
