I know that prior late payments hurt, and hear general statements that their "effect lessens with time." My FICO is just reaching 700, and the main negative is that i had two 30 day lates and one 90 delay, all happening and cleared up in a four month period of hard times just about two years ago. It has now been two years with absolutely no lates. Any feeling of the efffect these are still having on my score? Do they ever go away?
