How long to show up on report

I know card companies like cap 1 report on your statement date but others like HSBC report on the first of the month. How long does that information take to show up on your report. Instant, a day, a few days?

Thank you

Re: How long to show up on report

Experian is the fastest - usually posts the same day it is received (within 48 hours of statement cut/month end reporting)

Usually EQ follows 3-5 days later

Finally TU rolls in 2-3 days after that.

Starting Score: 627 EQ, 621 TU - 11/15/08
Current Score: 778 EQ, 781 TU, 778 EXP 07/20/12 Lender Pull
Goal Score: 800 EQ & TU

Re: How long to show up on report

Virtually all CC report the statement balance right after the statment is generated. Some wierd ones, like HSBC, report the balance at the end of the month.

Some banks, like BofA, report within hours. Most, like CapOne, take a day to report. A very few, like Amex, are erratic and usually report the next day but may take weeks to report.

The CRAs vary in reporting speed. Ex is blazing fast and updates in hours. EQ and TU take a day or two or three or four.

And, since we're talking about HSBC, they report the balance as of the last day (or last business day?) of the month - but they report it several days later.

Starting somewhere between the 5th and 10th of each month, Orchard (and other HSBC) cards usually update on your CR's. Sometimes, for me, it was as late as the 14th.  It will report your balance as of the last day (or last business day?) of the previous month.
