After reading several threads on EX, I decided to buy score and was pretty excited to see score, especially because it has historically been my lowest of the 3. Finally broke into the 700 club with a 707! Woohoo!!
Anyway, now I'm not sure if it is a FAKO or real score.
Any insight??
It's EX 08 FICO, which is a real score.
Lenders use a wide variety of scoring systems, so it may not match some other real score.
There's not a single "true" score.
Ah. Thanks for input. I'm guessing it's the same for other 2 CRAs....
- EQ 08 FICO
- TU 08 FICO
right?

The other choices here are EQ 08 and TU 98.
TU 08 is available from Barclays, Discover, and Walmart.
EQ 04 (mortgage business) is available from DCU and from the EQ web site ($20).
Lenders often use scoring systems that match none of these.

Interesting... I just bought my FICO score from the EQ website... just to see how close, or how far off it is.... seeing as it's EQ 04 (mortgage business)... and it's EXACTLY the same as my myFICO EQ score! 644 for both. ...my lowest score
Interestingly enough.... my FAKO score on EQ is 689. Just jumped almost 40 points yesterday.... yet, neither FICO score budged

Based on your other postings I don't think that's the case? Where did you get your '08 score from (did you actually pull a new report outside of scorewatch from here after the new product migration date?) unless your scorewatch was specifically migrated in which case you would've gotten an email as I understand it?

I don't know if it was directed to me,but I called to upgrade to cure my curiosity. I got a new report when I upgraded so I figured the upgrade to 08 went through
