Is there a difference between a FICO score and a Transunion FICO Score?

When I was just signed into my Walmart Credit card, they had an offer to view my FICO score for free. It told me that my score from FICO was 614. However, when I signed up for the MyFico/Transunion $4.95/month plan, it told me my TransUnion score was 597. I thought MyFICO was through Tranunion? Correct me if I'm wrong? Both scores stink either way, but I was just curious.

The Walmart score is a FICO score, but we do not know which version it is. There are multiple different FICO algorithms, so it is no surprise that your FICO score differs from the TU-98 version sold here.

Starting Score: 627 EQ, 621 TU - 11/15/08
Current Score: 778 EQ, 781 TU, 778 EXP 07/20/12 Lender Pull
Goal Score: 800 EQ & TU
