Yes it is actually First Premier. It ages off in7 months so I'm going to try for Early Deletions. Very angry and it makes sense now why my score isn't booming after all my positive changes and on time payments for 2 years now !

First Premier is owned by a large natioonwide collection agency and are experts are screwing with your CR to try to get you to pay even an almost 7 years old CO. I recommend just keep plugging away and get your utilization down so when it falls off or you get an early deletion you'll get the maximum boost to your score. What kind of credit (CCs/loans) do you have now?

Getting those 4 high util. cards under 30% will definitely help your score, and then once First Premier gets removed(if that's your only baddie) you'll see a huge jump in scores (but only if you get that util. down as well). Payment history (and First Premier counts here) and utilization are the biggest factors for Fico scoring. Keep that in mind in the future.

Ah, OK - with those accounts all in good standing you should get to upper 600s when the First Premier CO falls off and you have that utilization paid down. And Barclays is really good a auto CLIs when you pay that 80% util down. I had my Barclays Rewards MC up to 90% util with a 0% balance transfer, when I paid ot off they auto CLI'd my $3400 CL to $5700.

And as a rule of thumb, here's how CK rates utilization:

0-9% Excellent
10-29% Good
30-49% Fair
50-74% Poor
75%+ Very Poor

How much is the FP Charge Off amount?

And that Credit One account? I'd be trying to pay that one to zero (then stop using it) just to get out from all the fees and interest. Your payment dollars will go farther with CreditOne out of the way.
