Lag between CRA removing baddie & score update

Acct settled 04/08 reporting as 180 late every month uncluding July 09.  Initiated dispute with CRAs.  CRAs removed account entirely.  Pulled reports through myFico, account is gone but no change in score - really? or is there a lag?  CRAs removed the account 24th.

I don't think there is a lag in scoring. I had my most recent collection that reported in January removed and it did not budge my score.
