Lowering uti - how many points increase?

My EQ is 647 and I only have three open cards:

Express: $140 - 0%

Home Depot - $500 - $425 balance

1fbusa MC - $1800 - $1750 balance

Obviously my uitilzation is VERY high (95%+) and I am paying both cards in full (maybe leave $15 balance on my MC) on Jan 31st. I've called and they told me they report by the 8th of the month. Does anyone have any idea of how much my EQ score will increase by just paying down these balances?

My husband's EQ is 575 and has

Dell: $3500 - 0 balance

Macy's: $100 - $95 balance

HD (as AU): $500 - $425 balance

So his uti on two cards is high also - wondering how much his score will increase as well. We are going to be applying for NFCU as soon as our CR update!

I estimate 5 - 10 points for every 10% paid down.  YMMV.

Since 2 of your cards are maxed out you are getting additional dings for that too.

I am currently at 60% utilization but just paid off everything down to 1%

TU-08 end of december was 707

so I am anxious to see an increase too
