Mortgage not on EQ or TU

My first time posting so apologies if I'm not using all the proper abbreviations.

Pulled all 3 reports today. Only EX shows my mortgage (it also has the highest score). My mortgage dated 12/05 is paid on time etc. My questions are:

1. If I request EQ & TU to include my mortgage - any chance my scores will go down?
2. If they do include will they then tell me what my revised score is or will I have to pay to get the scores again?

Thx

Re: Mortgage not on EQ or TU

Hi jo, and welcome to the forum! Smiley Happy

1.) I'd call the mortgage company and request that they report to all 3 CRA's. The credit reporting agency doesn't come into play here.
2.) Unfortunately, you will have to buy new FICO scores. That's the way it works.

And if you are successful in getting the mort.co. to report to the other CRA's you need to allow the mort.co. enough time to start reporting. Sometimes it can take up to 60 days for it to start reporting.

Thanks for the info/help. Will contact the bank that holds the mortgage.
