Did Myfico change their EQ model? The reason I am asking is, for no reason my score jumped 36 points when it has remained unchanged for about 2 years. Nothing has changed on my report. In addition, under "whats hurting your score", it now states that I have "only 4 open accounts while high achievers have an average of six open accounts". Also, it states that my 6 yr aaoa is too low, and that the high achievers have an aaoa of 11 yrs. This seems very high to me. Any thoughts?
I don't have much to say about the # of accounts comment, but I imagine the reason that the AAoA for high achievers is so high is due to age differences. Younger people simply have not had the time to build their credit history the same way older people have. I am only 30 and my AAoA (before I recently opened some new cards to do balance transfers to) was 7 years, even though my history is only 10 years old. Obviously in 20 years when I am 50, I will likely be in the so called "high achievers" category, my AAoA is going to be significantly higher, simply because I am older.
ScoreWatch is now EQ08.

Thanks for your input, it's appreciated.
This site has updated to 08. Equifax sells a version of Score Watch on their website that still uses 04.

Is EQ's Score Power 04 as well?
