MyFICO EQ score is 653 on 6/24...NFCU EQ score was 668 on 6/20 - what is the difference??
MyFico is EQ 08.
I don't know what NFCU is, but if it's not EQ 08, then I would not expect the scores to match, because different formulas are being applied to the report data.
Lots of lenders use the "bankcard enhanced" models, and NFCU may also still be using 04 instead of 08.
Beyond this, if the scores are calculated at different times, then something may change on the report in the meantime.
I didn't realize that NFCU offered credit scores, I'm logging in to check it out
sorry for the confusion - the NFCU score was from an initial CLI rejection letter before I recon'd for an approval
I'm not familiar with what scoring model NFCU uses. Most credit unions seem to use EQ 04.
Beore I applied to NFCU, I checked myfico scores, and for TU it was 634. On my denial letter from NFCU they said my score was 573. I don't know just hard to know.
Look at the range they gave you and then look at the "Fico Editions" sticky to find which one matches. When NFCU gave me my score last year it was EQ04 based on the range.
