Citibank card that was closed in 2005 and made subsequent payments, but was charged off 4/2009. Paid settlement 4/2010. TU states it will be removed 07/2012; EX states it will be removed 9/2015 and not sure about EQ, but looks like 7/2012 (?)
How can I get the remove date to 07/2012 for all three CRA's? Would it be wise to dispute, again? It seems to have done no good and I don't want the date to get changed any later. What is the correct date for the 7 yr removal? DOFD or DOFMD?? Thanks for your insight!

To amplify a bit, the only date that you can rely upon out of all the dates in your three credit reports is the DOFD stated in your EQ report, and that is 8/2005.
The other credit reports are at the best confusing, and at the worst, incomplete.
Starting with the definition of DOFD, it is determined by looking only at the last chain of delinquencies prior to the charge-off, and then finding the first date of delinquency in that most recent chain.
Walking through your various credit reports, they show that the account was closed in 8/2005. That requries some further information. When the account was closed, was it closed in good standing (i.e., was it delinquent at the time, or current)? If the account was closed while delinquent, then the DOFD would necessarily have to have been no later than 8/2005. That is what EQ reports, which indicates to me that the account was delinquent when closed.
The only way your DOFD could have been after account closure in 8/2005 was if the account was closed in good standing, and the first delinquency in the chain occured on billing statements due after account closure.
The TU estimated CR deletion date of 7/2012 implies a DOFD of 7 years and 180 days prior, which would be 1/2005.
The TU estimated date of 7/2012 implies to me that they used 7 years from the DOFD, and not 7 years plus 180-days. That is not a problem, since they can use a drop off date prior to the maximun date of 2/2013.
The EXP estimated date of 9/2015 implies a DOFD of 3/2008. That could only be true if your account was closed in 8/2005 in good standing, and first became delinquent on 3/2008 after it was closed.
In summary, I see no real inconsistencies in the reporting done by TU and EQ, but see a definite inconsistency with the EXP reporting.
Regarding how to address the apparent inconsistencies between TU/EQ reporting and EXP reporting, can you independently determine your actual DOFD?
In my opinion, it all boils down to whether the account was delinquent at the time it was closed.
Once you have nailed this down, how to address it would probably involve first sending a request to TU under FCRA 609(a)(1), and getting the actual DOFD of record that the OC reported to TU. Once you have that reported date, if it is inaccurate, then file a direct dispute with the OC for incorrect reporting of your DOFD to TU.
