New Loan

I am really nervous!! I am 25 but starting college in a week.  I did apply for student loans (subsidized) in the amount of $3000.  My credit score is 728, but when my student loan is reported how much is my credit score going to drop? I am looking into buying a new vehicle in the next month or two.  Any ideas?

Likely less than 20. I'd actually guess less than 10. Plus you'd gradually gain points over the next few as it reports and the new credit wears off. BTW, it may not even report before you buy a car.

Thanks! I am hoping it won't report before I purchase my car, but I've heard from others it depends on the bank.
