New credit builder question

Hi everyone, excuse me if this has been asked before. I've read in a thread on this site that if you order a credit report (with score) for your own review, it is only considered a soft pull and not as an inquiry. Is that correct? So I can order my report from this site for example and my credit score won't be affected?

Best,
