Yeah, sounds about right depending on your file. 28% is a good number already utilization wise. 10 points is 10 points though, and as I just saw 20 points (unexpectedly on one of my scores, mortgage refinance go!) was absolutely massive for me, so half of massive potentially isn't necessarily a bad deal it's just about perspective.
I picked up 7 points from going from 30% to 8%, then EQ updated a couple days later with another 4 points after to dropping to 5%. Haven't looked to see what TU and EX did. Essentially, EQ gave me 11 pts from going from 30% to 5%. I had hoped for more, but with the BK on my report (~9 months old) being only 31 points away from a 700 score on EQ is nothing to turn up my nose at.
Absolutely agree with Revelate, it's all about perspective. I'm grateful for those 11 pts.
