848 is quite a score jump from your April score.  Can you think of any reason why your score might increase significantly?  Can you contact Bank of America to verify that 848 score is a genuine FICO score and that number is indeed correct?  Can they provide you with a copy of that credit report?

The obvious alternative would be just to wait until the next time you decide to check your TU score, and see what it is.  Having that 793 TU FICO score is certainly nothing to complain about.

793 to 848 in one month? Gotta be a different type of score. It could very well be a FICO score but I doubt very highly it is the same type you would pull from this website. That's too much of a jump from that high of a level.

Your Experian FICO® score is great

760 + is possible on 4.25 years of history and 2 years average age. 2 bank cards, 1 store card, 1 auto loan. Besides 2 inquiries on EX, my score is totally maxed out right now, no room for improvement.

TU and EQ lower because of an extra card reporting (they have not yet updated) and util being 3% vice <1%. TU is lower than EQ  due to average age being 1 year vice 2.

I will try TU and EQ in a week and see how much they budge with just 1 card reporting, and under 1% util.

Woohooo! 1 down - 2 to go.

As of 7-13-08 my FICOS are TU-735 / EQ-727 / EX-767

I long to get at least one in the 800s before the end of the year.

OK.  I just pulled all three scores.  Found an online coupon.  Anyway, EQ is still punishing me for the new Home Depot account.  My EQ score is now ten points lower than before, and the new account was reporting the last time I pulled myFICO scores.  I am confused...

Nothing else has changed.  One new INQ on EX because we changed our electricity provider.

New scores.  TU  793,  EQ 764, EX 787

Must go and change my siggy.
