Nicely done edward. We're about the same age, and I'll echo the sentiment by others here and say it's great to see another young adult taking control and being responsible with credit, especially given the fact that media has done quite well saying young adults are terrible at managing finances and credit. It's a great feeling to know that the next time you need to apply for a loan, that your credit is in tip top shape.
I suppose I'll take this opportunity to chime in myself. I closed on a home several months ago with FICO scores pulled at 776, 779, and 781.

Congrats to andyaycw and edward!!!
I finally have all my scores over 800!!!! woo hoo!!!
Has anyone ever actually gotten an 850 perfect score??? Is it even possible???
Yes, Sarge. Someone posted 850 across the board not too long ago. Mine are pretty close, but I still have a mortgage that keeps me 'honest.' Perhaps by the end of the year, I can ring the 850 bell. However, anything over 700 is a good score.
I spent YEARS dotting every I and crossing every T to get all three scores above 800. Once achieved did I recieve a gold watch or trophy maybe...nah..nothing!!! Having said that, I want 850 so bad I can taste it!!!!
I wonder if anyone at the credit agencies has ever removed a baddie for say 5000 dollars under the table. It seems there would be some bribery and corruption for profit. I mean if one could get a BK removed from all three agencies records for say 15 grand...just sayin....Do they have a fool proof security measures to prevent this kind of agency employee corruption???

Doubtful for a whole lot of reasons: not the least of which it'd be a lot easier to do it at the OC anyway.
Fact is nobody at Experian has access to the EQ data and vice versa, similar with TU as well.
