FICO® Score 8 based on TransUnion - 829.  Not bad considering all the inqus associated with a new mortgage and moving!

Wait, is this true of Navient?  Is it only for loans you're not paying yet?  I've never heard about this.

I never saw this until today. My EX/TU crossed into 800 at the end of August. I have no idea why EQ is so far behind apart from having more HPs for a vehicle I purchased last November. This forum really has taught me a lot, particularly about the importance of utilization.

Congrats all...you did it. Smiley Very Happy

TU at 775. Six months in the garden. I PIF every month except one card, which I leave at 1-2%. I followed every piece of advice here at the forum. I am on my way to 800.

This forum really does help. I expect to Oct 1 hit my highest numbers yet. 2 pushing 800 even equifax at 765 yesterday with 4000 on a card I've paid off yet to report. 2 inquires come off early December leaving only 1 on all 3 reports. I hope all 3 fico scores in 800 if even low 800 by Jan 1. It really does take time and disipline and restraint on buying.

Experian FICO-8 10-1-2015.jpgL

Long time coming - 8 years. Started at 533 in 2008. Lots of work. I plan to pull all 3 here first of month. Credit card is showing me Transunion around 790 as well and Equifax always lags behind 765 SCORE not FICO. Experian here is FICO-8

I have 2 hard inquiries coming off Dec which always gives me a bump. I am hoping it will bump all them on or over 800. First time since 1995 Any Score has been 800. I've learned a lot here. Mostly what not to do. Lots of great tools as to what to do. But sometimes it just takes time. I got turned down for a CL increase from Capital one last week from 6000 trying for 8000 asking 10k but would settle. Said too early since last increase they gave on their own.   This has been done with 5 credit cards one installment loan open pretty much at all times even if an installment loan from the bank to pay credit items I had money to pay for just to have installment loan.

Bit the Bullet and pulled. I was shocked. I knew I was close but this is amazing. It's like I have been working on this forever. Highest numbers I have had since 1995. I have only worked to repair since 2008 when I was at 533.

Re: Our Forums' FICO High Achievers: Who has at least one FICO Score of 760 or above?

thank you so much Lilybee. I have worked so hard.  I went literally 10 years and would not check my credit knowing it was horrible. Bad thing the day I let it all go I had all 3 in 800s and had for years. I knew if I did not pay the next day I was going to go 30days over first time in my life. I went to my dad for help and it was a NO. Figure it out. I lost my entire credit. It cost me so much. Everywhere I go even when I talked to young girl at Experian like today I tell her about myfico.com. Few know about it. When I did start to check it years later a lot of the bad stuff had fell off as it had been over 7 years really over 10 years to my benefit. My score was 533 in equifax because the lady at the bank pulled it. She started to loan me money on my savings installment loans and then that lead to one credit card, Today I have almost 30k in CC CL and owe less than 1%. I made it to 800 without a mortgage. I never thought I would be able to without a mortgage. When she loaned me money off my savings that was 2007 and 2008. We kept on doing that and I took the money to pay off any more bad debt like old hospital and such. I had one hospital bill that had been coded wrong paid off for years and 5 years ago I got them to remove the 53.00 debt paid off from my credit file. When they did I went to 667. I knew then I could do this. I had a huge drop of 60 points last deccember after bank pulled my credit and would not make a no collateral loan due to debt to income. I had bought a truck I loved a 98 toyota on my credit card.  I began  to pay the credit card off instead of selling the truck and it crawled back up until this month when I got the card to 1% and a 25 point jump on into the 800s. This site has been so helpful. Sorry for that long Thank you but I do thank you.

With 2 inquires due off in December equifax should move from 785 into low 800 as well. Any more ideas you know of let me know. You have helped me a lot. I tell everyone about this site. Told a girl at the bank the other day. Me and her just got into a converstaion about FICO and her wanting to buy a house her first.

Oh I wanted to add this. I have two sisters one told me about a year ago " All I hear about is that damn FICO score" It really has become a part of my life.. I have had others ask me to help them. My first recommendation is get two job as anything bad on it has to be paid in full to get it off.  I really did not know how to take it when I saw the 800s today. I had dreamed of this day coming from a horrible 533. It felt wonderful and at the same time I ask myself why in the world did it take so long. like 8 years.

Both sisters are in the 800s and have incredible incomes as Teachers with Masters degrees. They really do not understand when you hit the bottom rung on the ladder and crawl back up it means a lot to you.
