Hey, everyone's looking good in this category.  Monitoring our spending habits and being stingy with credit card usage are a good thing.   Haven't checked mine lately; waiting for another FICO discount.

In the meantime, my modem crashed and while waiting for a new one to be delivered, someone hacked into one of my credit cards and went crazy with spending.  It was a card I use online.  Fortunately, the bank caught it and cancelled it.  I didn't know initially what was going on since my computer was down.  I check my finances daily but couldn't for a week.  So, I'm glad my bank was alert.

A word to the wise . . . unless your computer crashes, check your finances daily.  Lots of crooks out there.

Re: Our Forums' FICO High Achievers: Who has at least one FICO Score of 760 or above?

So I finally got my score up from 722 to 744 I had to apply for two credit cards and my score went down to 705 then up to 744. But usaa only reported one card so far, my overall util is pretty high on the one card I had 60 percent but the two new cards are high limit 14k and 12k will my credit jump up really high when these get reported? I have 900 out of 1800 on the one with 60 percent. One baddie but its like almost 7 years old drops off in a month or so.

Re: Our Forums' FICO High Achievers: Who has at least one FICO Score of 760 or above?

Is there a secret handshake?

761 as of yesterday with Equifax.  19 point jump in one month I attribute to a baddie deletion I obtained with my myfico friends.

Thanks!
