Paid Closed Tradelines and Score

I understand that paid closed tradelines remain on a credit file for 10 years. My question is does its positive affect lessen with the passge of time. In other words does an account that has been closed for 8yrs have a less positive effect on a score than an account that has been closed for 2yrs?

Fortunately no. The effect does not lessen with time which is a good thing for all of us.
